Here's Constance in her swing after putting Mom and Dad through the ringer...She loves to be swung on the high speed too...no little back and forth at all nooooo...she's got to be booking it...

As for tummy time...well she let us know how she felt about that! Screw it I'm going to sleep if this is the only way I can get to sleep on my tummy!

And here she is with her pumpkin that daddy carved out to look like her at night! I'm not kidding sometimes it's even worse. No swaddling, sushing, swaying, walking, or even swinging sometimes will do the trick. Hopefully with this medication and the decision by her dr's to put her on Gentlease, maybe she start to be gentle on her father and mother...wishful thinking I know...

Which one is scarier...this one...or this one!!!
Scott carved the second one in about two hours...the costume took mom three hours to decide upon and give up on looking for the princess one...

Oh...and has anyone seen any pink elephants lately well if not check at the Strausbaugh household..... she has magically appeared and she won't tell us what she did with our daughter!

This week I spent a day interviewing two different daycare providers. They are stay-at-home military wives/mothers who operate a daycare out of their home. This helps to keep the big daycare numbers down and for those who want a more personal daycare setting for their children can have this option. They are certified through the Navy and a through background check on all family members is done as well as surprise inspections. The costs are about the same $140 per week for an infant. Constance will be there from about 630 am till about 2pm when dad gets off. Mom will drop her off. The one I decided to go with has a two y/o son and she currently does not have any other children under her care. She would only be allowed another four children. She speaks spanish, french, and english fluently. She has a very nice home in military housing right off base and they live close to a park. This week she has been to the doctor twice to help figure out what's going on with her. She's very unhappy with something. We think it's acid reflux and someone who doesn't want to go to sleep at night. We now love her swing.....

Constance Rules the House

Ok...due to pressure from mother (mine-Erica) I have finally created a Blog so everyone can share the pictures and/or comments about Constance and her miracle growing self.

On her last visit to the Dr's she weighed in at 11 lbs and 4oz (5 weeks old) and she's 23 inches in length.

We've had problems with her eating and sleeping and after discussing this with the Dr's they have put her on Zantac to help. It seems to be working but they also want us to switch to Enfamil Gentlease. She seems to be sleeping more comfortably and is still working on Mom and Dad. She gets plenty of tummy time and sometimes even falls asleep during her morning workout. Scott and her love to watch Saturday morning cartoons in bed and play with each other. Well gotta go take care of a crying baby.
